Ingredients:
- 1/2 Bunch Cilantro
- 1/2 Onion
- 4 Cloves Garlic
- 1lb Ground Beef
- 2tsp Garlic Powder
- Chabe Chili Sauce
- 1 Egg
- 1/3 Cup of Milk
- 1/2 Cup of Bread Crumbs
- 1Tbsp Butter
- 1/2 Cup ABC Sweet Soy
- ABC Extra Hot Sauce
Instructions:
- Finely chop the 1/2 bunch of cilantro.
- Finely chop the 1/2 onion into small cubes.
- Mince the 4 (or more) cloves of garlic.
- Set the chopped vegetables aside.
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Farenheit.
- Add the chopped onions, bread crumbs, cilantro, and 2tsp of garlic powder to 1lb of ground beef in a large mixing bowl.
- Add Chabé Chili sauce to the mix per preference. The more, the better!
- Add the egg.
- Begin mixing with your hands. We recommend using gloves for this process.
- Add moisture by adding 1/3 cup of milk. The mixture should start to feel more like dough as you mix.
- Once thoroughly mixed, begin rolling into golf sized balls. Make sure that the balls are well compressed to avoid them coming apart in the oven.
- Place balls on a baking dish about 2 inches apart and place in the oven for 20 minutes.
- While that is baking, we will begin creating the sauce. Place 1tbsp of butter on a frying pan over medium heat.
- Once the pan is coated, add minced garlic to the pan.
- Add about 1/2 a cup of ABC Sweet Soy Sauce to the pan.
- Add ABC Extra Hot Sauce to the pan according to personal preference.
- Stir occasionally and let simmer.
- Once the meatballs are done baking, place 2 or 3 balls onto the pan and toss in the sauce.
- The balls are now ready to serve with a side of rice or as hors d’oeuvres!
