Filipino Chicken & Pork Adobo

Ingredients:

3 Drumsticks of Chicken

1 lb. of Pork (Cut into Cubes)

¼ Cup of Soy Sauce

1/3 Cup of ABC® Sweet Soy Sauce

¼ Cup of Vinegar (White Vinegar recommended)

½ Head of Garlic (Minced)

1 ½ Teaspoons of Ground Pepper

2 Bay Leaves

3-4 Small Potatoes (Cut into cubes)

½ Yellow Onion (Chopped)

1 ½ Tablespoons of Vegetable Oil

Steps

  1. Add the vegetable oil to a hot pan. Follow up with the garlic and onions.
  2. Once the onions are translucent, add the pork cubes, drumsticks, and potato cubes.
  3. Add in our sauces (ABC® Sweet Soy Sauce, Vinegar, and Soy Sauce), ground pepper, and bay leaves to the pan and stir well.
  4. Cover the pan and let it cook for 45 minutes on a low heat (continue to stir every 15 minutes)
  5. Remove the cover and cook for an additional 15 minutes (until the sauce reduces)
  6. Remove to bay leaves and enjoy over rice.
